Free Google Sitemap Generator

Everybody knows that getting indexed in Google is getting more and more difficult each day and every body is looking for that edge over the competition.

Most "white hat" SEO's frown upon methods like cloaking, blog and ping and other such "black hat" techniques and never had any special technique that they could use to help get their pages indexed better.

Well, presenting Google Sitemaps, Googles latest offering which is still in the beta stage, and which won't make the purists frown.

Firefox update fixes stability glitches

Earth breathes easy as equilibrium restored

Apple Campus Missing From MSN Earth

By timothy on take-a-memo-take-a-joke

webguru4god writes "The Register has an article detailing a significant omission from Microsoft's new Virtual Earth application. Apparently the satellite image view of 1 Infinite Loop in Cupertino, CA shows a large empty lot, whereas Google Maps shows the sprawling Apple campus. Hmmm, I wonder if the Google campus is missing too?"

Christmas in July

Strange thought of the day:

If you're concerned that your Christmas cards don't mean much to the people you send them to; send out your Christmas cards in July.

1) Your friends and family will notice your card.

2) You can make the point that Christmas is all year long.

3) If you're busy around the holidays like us, you'll have all your cards done.

What do you think?

The Next Decade of Educational Media

When it comes to understanding the use of media in education and development, take a tip from the professor. "Don't start with the technology," says Harvard professor Chris Dede, Timothy E. Wirth Professor in Learning Technologies. "When you start with technology, it's a solution looking for a problem." He starts, instead, with learning styles. "No matter what age you are, your learning style can be shaped by the kind of media you use."

Convoy

Couldn't sleep. Got up. Flipped on the cable television (yes, we have
cable television now) and watched most of Convoy. This was one of my
favorite movies there for a brief, pre-Star Wars period when every 6
year old boys fantasy was to be a trucker. Well, most of us don't want
to admit it but that's the culture I was subjected to. My step-dad
would take us out to eat at truck stops on the interstate. Anyway, it
was a grand old revisitation to an oft overlooked movie of when you
could drive across the country on a dollar or so per gallon.
