The Intellectual Appreciation of Poop Humor

Looks like this years "Poop For Peace" day went pretty well... (Be careful to not let the "stink" get on you though! Only stay at this site for as long as you can hold your breath!)

Reinstalling Reason

I was talking on the phone with a friend (whose name has been changed to protect the innocent) who told me a story about trying to install this software called "Reason":

"Spock" started out by saying that he was upgrading and installing a plug-in for Reason. At this I said "Oh, so you were going beyond reason?!"

That was funny.

Then Spock said that the software bombed entirely. I said, "Oh, so you were without Reason entirely?!"

Then Spock said that he reinstalled his Reason but that all the old Reason files would no longer work with the new Reason.

I was at wits end, which means that I had nothing else witty to say.

Then Spock said that another friend, whom I'll call "Bones", was able to repair his Reason.

Trying my best to be witty again I said, "So let me get this straight; you went beyond Reason then you lost all Reason and then when you did come back to Reason somebody else had to straighten it out for you?!"

Spock said, "Man, are you on my insurance? You're better than my therapist!"

Our Missy ~ Forever Remembered

This is a touching memorial of a young person who was driving back to college and died in car accident.

What's most important is the how the family dealt with the tragedy.

What does your kid do on the Internet?

It's a parents responsibility to ask who? and where? It may be healthy to inform your teen that you will be monitoring or filtering their internet experience. Or is it better just to be sneaky?

Objectivity

In between what we try to make real and what we want to make unreal is objectivity.
