What does your kid do on the Internet?

It's a parents responsibility to ask who? and where? It may be healthy to inform your teen that you will be monitoring or filtering their internet experience. Or is it better just to be sneaky?

Never good to just be sneaky. Treating your kids with respect and being aware of what they do is a hard line to keep. I think just being honest is the best way to go. I as a grown adult have a hard time keeping away from sites that I shouldn't be at. What makes us think that a kid can do this any easier? Just explain that temptations are all over the internet and for the well being of the whole family it is wise to keep track of sites that are veiwed. From sites that get your personal info to porn, hate races sites to E-bay. You would monitor the CD, book, or magazines that they read and listen too same goes for the internet.
